A Guide to Lima’s Airport
One thing that really bugs me about flying is getting stuck at departure gates with rubbish services. There’s nothing worse than finally making it through security only to discover there's just one sad café selling soggy sandwiches and instant coffee. So, here's a heads-up for anyone planning to take off from Jorge Chávez International Airport in Lima.
On Arrival
- Have your tickets and passports in hand, staff are posted at the entrances and will ask to see your travel documents before letting you enter the airport.
- Safe Bag offers a luggage wrapping service. Look out for them between entrance gates 6 and 8.
- There are self-service check-in machines where you can print boarding passes and luggage tags. Bag drop lanes are available to help speed up the check-in process. There are plenty of staff around if you need help.
