About Kelly’s Bake Shop

This bakery has been around since the 60s and has been run by the same family for over forty years. They often have queues of customers waiting for their delicious sticky buns. We're talking soft, gooey, melt-in-your-mouth goodness. Seriously, they're so good that people travel from all over to get a taste. They even sold over 4,000 of these bad boys in a single day back in 2019!

What Do They Sell?

Kelly's Bake Shop is more than just sticky buns (although those are a must-try, obviously). They've got a whole range of homemade goodies, from breads and pies to cookies and squares. Personally, we're big fans of their coconut and date cookies – they're the perfect snack after hiking in nearby Fundy National Park. At lunchtime, they serve small meals like sandwiches, chilli and soup.

Why Do We Like Them?

You can tell they put a lot of care into everything they make and the staff are always so welcoming. If the weather's nice, you can grab a seat at one of the outdoor tables and enjoy your treats in the sunshine. It’s our go-to spot whenever we're in Alma and they never disappoint.

Where Are They?

Kelly’s Bake Shop is in the small village of Alma, New Brunswick. Alma sits right on the Bay of Fundy and is the gateway community for Fundy National Park. It’s a great base for outdoor adventures, the locals are super friendly, and the seafood is delicious.

News From Kelly's Bake Shop

The Elliot family has sold Kelly’s Bake Shop and is moving on to new things. But don’t worry—the original sticky bun recipe has been passed to the new owners, and those amazing sticky buns aren't going anywhere. So, call in next time you're in Alma. It's right on Main Street, easy to find, and your taste buds will thank you!
